We are seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Specialist to join our team as an Industrial HSEQ Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving best practice safety culture and outcomes across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management: You will be responsible for managing risks across business and multiple entities regarding Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
  • IMS Management: You will coordinate the Integrated Management System (IMS) group, ensuring compliance with Quality, Health, and Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Audits: Conduct audits for Quality, Health, and Safety, and Environmental management systems.
  • Incident Management: Develop and implement incident management procedures to minimize downtime and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare regular reports on HSE performance and develop budgets for HSE-related activities.

Our client is a privately-owned construction and development company with a strong focus on the industrial market. Based in Melbourne's Western Suburbs, they deliver commercial and industrial projects up to $60M in value.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Commercial and industrial construction knowledge.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of OHS/WHS legislative frameworks, including relevant Acts, regulations, codes of practice, and risk management concepts.
  • Solid understanding of ISO 9001 and AS/NZS 4801 requirements.
  • Experience in developing high-quality internal and external documentation.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Visio.
