About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as Manager, Creative Industries. As a key member of our Business, Design, Media, and ICT Programs (BDMICT) department, you will drive innovation in Arts, Design, and Screen and Media program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and innovative learning experiences.

Job Summary

This is an ongoing, full-time role located in a central Hawthorn location, offering an EM2 salary + 17% super with attractive benefits. As the Manager, Creative Industries, you will lead a portfolio of programs, motivating, leading and managing high-performing and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve performance targets and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance industry engagement, social inclusion, and innovation in education.
  • Lead and manage a team of educators and professionals to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of relevant industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary degree or management qualification.
  • Significant experience in the educational area and training sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in high-level planning, organisational, and complex problem-solving skills.
  • A proven ability to negotiate, collaborate, and foster strong relationships internally and externally.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated at AU$ 100,000 - 120,000 per annum, plus superannuation benefits. We offer flexible working options to support work-life balance and a range of employee benefits.
