Transport Operations Leader

As a key player in our operations, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our delivery and service goals. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of branch operations, labour and vehicle resources to achieve timely collection and deliveries
  • Control and manage service delivery to meet customer expectations
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight to ensure seamless logistics
  • Manage and develop operations personnel to ensure adherence to standard procedures
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel and assets
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legislative requirements and industry regulations related to Work Health and Safety, COR, storage and handling of dangerous goods, traffic laws and government regulations
  • Optimize operational costs against set targets
  • Manage property, plant and site security
