Job Description

This is a leadership role for an experienced Transport Manager to oversee the WA operations of a national transport organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and shaping the transport strategy, managing a diverse fleet, and driving operational excellence across the state's most critical transport networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct all WA transport operations ensuring safe, on-time, and cost-efficient delivery
  • Optimise fleet utilisation and implement strategies to boost productivity
  • Lead and develop Managers, Supervisors, Planners, and Drivers to achieve results
  • Analyse operational data to improve performance and identify opportunities
  • Build strong customer relationships and maintain exceptional service standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legislative requirements
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require 5+ years' experience in transport/logistics, with 3+ years in a senior management position. You should also have experience in heavy haulage and large-scale fleet operations, as well as strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable decisions.
