Job Description:

The Transport Operations Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of effective transportation strategies, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing transportation resources, including personnel, vehicles, and equipment
  • Developing and implementing logistics plans to optimize freight outcomes
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of transportation operations
  • Monitoring and controlling costs associated with transportation operations
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates will need to demonstrate:

  • Relevant qualification and/or equivalent experience in transport management and leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of transportation industry regulations and standards
