We are seeking a skilled and experienced clinician to provide specialist counselling and interventions to children, young people, parents/carers and their families.
The position will involve working with vulnerable populations, providing trauma-informed care and responding to violence, abuse and neglect involving children and young people. You will be part of a collaborative and professional team that works closely with other health professionals to ensure clients receive the service they need.
Key responsibilities include providing specialist counselling and interventions, working collaboratively with other health professionals, engaging with difficult and involuntary clients, and participating in professional development, clinical supervision, teaching, quality activities and other relevant departmental and administrative duties.
Requirements:- Social Work degree or Full registration as a Psychologist
- Extensive postgraduate clinical experience in providing counselling, groupwork, parenting and case management interventions
- Knowledge of child protection issues including relevant legislation and guidelines
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
