Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work as Support Workers in our Community Support Division on the Central Coast. As a Support Worker, you will empower people with varying abilities to achieve their goals, dreams, and aspirations by providing personalized support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social and Recreational Support: Assist clients in participating in social and recreational activities that promote independence and community engagement.
  • Domestic Support: Provide assistance with daily living tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Personal Care and Medication Support: Assist clients with personal care needs, including medication administration and management.
  • Community Access: Facilitate access to community resources and services to promote social inclusion.
  • Maintaining customer records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping of client information and progress.
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships and networks: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III Individual Support (preferred) or demonstrated experience working with people with varying abilities.
  • Australian drivers licence (minimum P2).
  • Reliable vehicle with comprehensive vehicle insurance.
  • First Aid Certificate or the ability to attain one.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or the ability to attain one.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module or the ability to complete training.
  • Working With Children Check (paid worker).
  • Reliable smart phone.
