Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Registered Psychologist Contractor.

This role involves managing a caseload of clients across the lifespan and from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds, completing therapeutic processes in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities include undertaking comprehensive clinical interviews and assessments, interpreting findings, and collaboratively determining and achieving goals aligned with NDIS Plan objectives.

The successful candidate will deliver person-centred, tailored interventions with a systemic focus, including therapeutic support and stakeholder training.

Additionally, they will monitor, interpret, report, and address signs and symptoms of risk and acute distress during therapeutic interventions.

Effective communication and documentation skills are essential for this role, including providing written reports to the NDIS outlining progress reviews and ongoing needs.

Finally, the successful candidate must maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Current general registration with AHPRA
  • Experience working with NDIS participants
  • Excellent time management, communication, and writing skills
  • Relevant insurance, including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance
  • Police clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Active ABN
