About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Experience Coordinator to join our team at Ipswich City Council. As a key member of our Digital Experience team, you will play a critical role in shaping the digital landscape of our city.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Digital Experience team, ensuring seamless integration of digital operations across Library and Customer Services (LCS) and the wider ICT framework.
  • Manage and advance LCS systems, ensuring they meet current and future needs, and provide guidance and training on customer services and library applications.
  • Formulate and execute strategic plans to improve LCS applications, boosting user engagement and contributing to the Council's CX program by analyzing customer data.
  • Lead the technical documentation and design of LCS systems in collaboration with the Council's ICT branch.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Qualifications in web/technology design, information technology, or an associated discipline, or extensive experience in creative/analytical information technology integration.
  • Contextual experience within the library and/or customer service industry is preferred.
  • A hands-on style, with knowledge of how these systems interface with a functioning online library and externally focussed libraries and customer service contact centres.
  • A Working with Children Check – Issue of Blue Card and Positive Notice Letter (issued by the Queensland Government) or Exemption Card.
  • A current Queensland Driver's licence.
