Luxury Sales Director Opportunity

Abercrombie & Kent, a world-renowned luxury travel brand, is seeking an exceptional Sales Director to join our team in Melbourne. With a proven track record in the luxury market and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategic relationships with retail trade partners and suppliers across VIC/TAS/NZ regions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage trade partnerships at a state and business level to achieve and exceed assigned targets
- Define, implement, and communicate effective account management strategies that maximize revenue generation
- Initiate and implement sales and marketing initiatives for key accounts with a strong focus on ROI
- Establish a robust pipeline of new business opportunities, identifying new partners and growing portfolios of existing partners
- Increase A&K and Crystal product and brand awareness to the travel agent community
You will have the opportunity to work closely with our dynamic team, leveraging your expertise in relationship management, negotiation, and sales strategy to drive business growth. Your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively will be critical to your success in this role.
About the RoleThis full-time position is based in our Melbourne office and reports to the VP Sales & Partnerships AU/NZ – AKTG. You will be responsible for reaching and exceeding outbound sales targets across your region, working autonomously and as part of a dynamic team. This role requires a dedicated, self-motivated individual with a drive and passion for sales success and the ability to be a respected ambassador for the A&K Travel Group.
Requirements- Minimum 5 years' experience in the travel industry in a Sales Manager role
- Product knowledge and firsthand travel experience of A&K destinations is preferred
- Proven experience and track record in relationship management
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Australian retail trade distribution
- Demonstrated sales ability and energy and drive to achieve sales targets
We offer a competitive remuneration package, including sales incentives, a car allowance, and mobile phone allowance. You will also have the opportunity to take up to six weeks of travel per year, including familiarisation trips.
