Job Opportunity:

 

  • The Senior Case Worker will be responsible for leading the East Kimberley Support Network in a specific region, delivering high-quality services that are integrated into the community and tailored to meet its needs.
  • As a key member of the team, you will oversee the daily management of staff, including recruitment, induction, coaching, and supervision responsibilities.
  • You will work closely with your team to develop the capacity of families through the delivery of targeted, flexible supports based on the KAA Practice Framework.
  • A strong network of relationships with key stakeholders such as local government departments and community organizations would be highly advantageous.
  • You will provide one-on-one supervision and coaching to your team members.
  • You will ensure that policies and procedures are followed, including timely data entry into client management systems.

 

About You:

  • An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in youth/social work/community services or a related field is essential
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working directly with children, young people, and families is required
  • It is crucial to demonstrate experience working with children, young people, and families in a trauma-informed way
  • Leadership or supervisory experience would be highly desirable
  • A solid understanding of IT systems is essential
