Strategic Operations Leader

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Strategic Operations Leader to lead our children and family services across the Kimberley region. This role will provide leadership, operational oversight, and management to ensure high-quality, child-safe, and culturally responsive services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be instrumental in strengthening team cohesion, mentoring managers, and driving positive outcomes for children, young people, and families in the region. Key responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and developing a team of managers, caseworkers, and youth workers across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead diverse teams, drive cohesion, and implement policies and procedures effectively.
  • Ensure services are compliant with relevant standards and contractual obligations.
  • Oversee operational delivery, budgets, and reporting requirements.
  • Bld strong relationships with local agencies, government departments, and community stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in the community services sector, with significant management and supervisory experience.
  • Strong background in out-of-home care, family support, complex care, disability services, or related fields.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in community services or a related discipline.
