Independent Living Support Specialist

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide person-centered care and support to our aged clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering personal care services, including showering, dressing, and toileting.
The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, such as medication management, domestic duties, and meal preparation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver quality care.
As a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Providing personal care services to clients, including showering, dressing, and continence care
- Assisting clients with medication management and administration
- Supporting clients with daily living activities, such as domestic duties and meal preparation
- Social support, including transportation to appointments and social events
Requirements for this role include:
- A current Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent qualification
- Current First Aid certification
- Previous experience working in community care or a related field
