We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, your primary responsibility will be to support our financial/accounting and general coordination activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Accounting
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting and procedural standards.
- Update and verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier's ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
- Reconcile the general ledger, bringing the books to the trial balance stage.
- Perform partial checks of the posting process.
- Record data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
- Process accounts receivable/payable on time.
- General Coordination
- Coordinate operational activities amongst internal and external departments.
- Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints, relaying relevant comments from customers to supervisors.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration and have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Payroll functions and Award Interpretation is also required. Additionally, knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office is necessary. Solid communication skills both written and verbal are essential. The ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise is also crucial.
In return, you can expect a competitive salary range of AUD $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, inclusive of Superannuation. If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking to take your career to the next level, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
