Childcare Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Childcare Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of our childcare services, ensuring the highest level of quality care and support for children and families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare, with experience in program development, staff management, and compliance. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and concisely with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating daily childcare programs and activities;
  • Managing and leading a team of childcare professionals;
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies;
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication skills;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports;
  • Collaborating with other departments and teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Childcare or Teaching (minimum Diploma in Children Services);
  • Proven experience in coordinating childcare programs and managing staff;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • First Aid and CPR certification;
  • Blue Card or ability to obtain.
