Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting cloud solutions, particularly within the Azure ecosystem. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud environments while driving innovation and efficiency through cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud solutions, including infrastructure, security, and networking components.
  • Configure and maintain virtual servers, cloud infrastructure, and cloud networks within Azure.
  • Implement identity management solutions and ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices.
  • Manage Exchange online environments and respond to customer incidents and service requests.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call roster system and be able to undertake support work outside of normal business hours if required.

Qualifications:
  • 8 years of demonstrated IT experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise-level infrastructure, resolving complex issues/situations, and driving technical resolution across cross-functional organizations.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and deploying common Azure services, including virtual machines, databases, storage, virtual networks, Azure Resource Manager, Azure site recovery, Azure backups/restores, Azure High Availability, Azure microservices, and Azure HCI.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and deploying common Office 365 services, including users, security, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, licensing, and migrating Office 365 domains.
  • 5+ years of experience in Azure Active Directory domain services, Azure B2C, on-prem domain controllers, conditional access, Azure AAD Sync, and Hybrid AD.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and managing Azure and M365 security and compliance, including DLP, information governance, advanced threat management, AIP, and secure score.
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing and managing cloud networking and security experience, including firewalls, network security groups, Express Route, Azure VPN, and Microsoft Azure networking and security best practices.
  • Proven experience deploying and migrating cloud workloads, including Office 365 and Azure.
  • Experience with Intune, Intune policy creation, device enrollment, device compliance, policy troubleshooting, and Autopilot.
  • Experience in Azure automation and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience in Azure availability and capacity management and monitoring.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes.
