About the Role

Ampcontrol is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSEQ Business Partner to join our QLD Operations team based in Mackay. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction on HSEQ issues across our QLD Operations
  • Champion and drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
  • Support the implementation of HSEQ improvement initiatives and facilitate site hazard and risk management activities
  • Investigate incidents and monitor statistics to identify trends and deliver action plans
  • Maintain safety, environmental, and quality records and registers
  • Support the on-going compliance and retention of business critical certifications
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar position in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Qualification in Health & Safety (Cert IV WHS) or equivalent
  • Sound knowledge of QLD WHS legislation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and influence at all levels of an organisation
  • Return to Work Coordinator qualifications and experience
  • Incident investigation experience (ICAM)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
