Cybersecurity Network Specialist

About the Role:

The Cybersecurity Network Specialist will lead the design, development and optimization of wired and wireless networks, internet connectivity and security infrastructure to ensure the highest level of network security.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize network security by ensuring all network components are safeguarded and aligned with industry security standards.
  • Continuously improve processes, standards and documentation within the network operations function.
  • Manage and enhance security using firewalls, NAC, SASE and enforce robust network security protocols.
  • Provide third-level network support to ensure stability, security and performance of network services.
  • Drive network expansion and optimization projects.
  • Support the growth of Wi-Fi services and enable latest security products.
Requirements:
  • 10–12 years of experience in network security, preferably in education, finance or retail.
  • Strong understanding and implementation experience of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles.
  • Scripting/automation for configuration management and repeatable tasks.
  • Experience with routing protocols and concepts (Multicast, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, etc) and WAN technologies (SD-WAN, MPLS, VPLS).
  • Advanced experience in administering Cisco Wired and Wireless Infrastructure, Zscaler, Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, Cisco FTD and VPN services, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewall.
  • Demonstrated experience with Azure and AWS Networking implementation, landing zones and design concepts.
  • Relevant certifications in network and security technologies (CCNP, Palo alto and Fortinet).
