Emergency Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team at a state-of-the-art animal hospital, dedicated to delivering exceptional emergency and critical care services to pets.

About the Role
  • You will work in a supportive, team-oriented environment, often transitioning from general practice to emergency veterinary care.
  • Responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care under busy conditions, working independently or as part of a team.
Ideal Candidate
  • A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent is required, along with at least 3 years of experience in a busy general practice, referral, or emergency setting.
  • Availability to work various shifts across a 24/7 roster is essential.
  • Candidates should be friendly, adaptable, and capable of working independently or in a team.
  • Strong work ethic, efficiency, and multitasking skills are necessary.
  • Experience in high-quality patient care under busy conditions is vital.
  • Proficiency in anaesthetic monitoring; experience with critical and ventilated patients is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with RX Works, Smartflow, and Idexx blood machines is beneficial.
