We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team.
- Critical Patient Care: Provide high-quality care to critically ill and injured animals in the emergency department, utilizing advanced monitoring equipment to track vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in patient condition.
- Triage and Assessment: Quickly assess patients to determine the level of urgency and appropriate interventions, working closely with veterinarians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to provide effective communication and coordinate patient care.
- Client Communication: Communicate with pet owners regarding their pet's condition, treatment plans, and prognosis, providing clear and concise information.
- Medical Procedures: Assist in medical procedures, including wound care, fluid therapy, and administration of medications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to hospital protocols.
- Continuing Education: Stay current with advancements in emergency and critical care medicine through ongoing training and professional development.
