Senior Compliance Officer Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside diverse, intelligent, and driven peers in a rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of relevant trading regulations for key APAC markets, analytical skills, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced industry landscape.

  • The successful candidate will act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and the business, providing guidance aligned with regulatory expectations and the firm's risk appetite.
  • Support the execution of the APAC strategy locally by delivering advisory services, conducting risk assessments, leading training initiatives, developing policies and procedures, and implementing effective controls.
  • Lead the review of new business initiatives to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards.

As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will participate in strategic and new business working groups, offering proactive Compliance input and collaborating closely with APAC teams to drive regional initiatives.

A highly organized individual with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments is required. The successful candidate will also be committed to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism in all Compliance responsibilities.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Compliance within the trading industry, with extensive support provided to trading desks.
  • Deep understanding of trading regulations impacting global market makers, with strong knowledge of APAC regulatory expectations and market structures.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing Compliance programs, policies, and controls.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, capable of interpreting complex regulatory requirements and delivering practical, risk-aligned solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership through previous experience leading teams, projects, or strategic initiatives, with a focus on stakeholder influence and outcome delivery.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to engage confidently with business stakeholders.
