Job Details:
Job Summary: Responsible for supporting global trade strategy by working closely with teams from Contracts, Business Development, Programs and Proposals to ensure Cubic's international growth objectives are met while ensuring compliance will all applicable trade regulations for the APAC region. This role will work across Cubic businesses and corporate functions to implement and support strategic and compliance initiatives. This position works under supervision and direction by GTC.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Analyses contracts, agreements, and other documents prior to execution to ensure compliance requirements are considered, understood and implemented.
- Process and implements authorizations for marketing and collaboration across Cubic businesses and with strategic partners.
- Performs due diligence on global strategy initiatives to analyse potential risk.
- Coordinates with relevant internal departments including Business Development, Programs and Contracts to identify, plan and implement import/export licensing requirements.
- Liaises with functional groups to coordinate key objectives and action items in support of Global Trade Compliance.
- Collaborates in the development and implementation of export/import policies and procedures and self-assessments.
- Monitors changes to regulations and related guidelines and working to mitigate the impact of such changes on the business unit's export/import compliance activities and business plans
- Supports internal audits of export/import issues involving Cubic programs and processes.
- Assists management to ensure compliance with federal import and export regulations, relating to import/export of products and services, transfers of technical data, and employment of foreign persons.
- Conduct trade compliance training
- Work with onsite engineers to update the export classification of products including hardware, software, and technology.

- Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
- Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
- Other duties as requested

Minimum Job Requirements:
**Qualifications**:
Essential:

- Business Administration Certificate or equivalent in technical specialty
- Professional experience in international trade compliance, contracts or business

Skills/Experience/Knowledge
- Ability to plan work, prioritise work, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines
- Advanced communication abilities including professional level business writing skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop consensus on plans through dealing with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- May be required to travel domestically and internationally.

Successful outcome of a National Police Check
