The Achieve Foundation is seeking an experienced Leadership Development Director to lead the fundraising efforts in disability advocacy.

This role involves driving the growth of our Major Gifts revenue stream by identifying, cultivating, and securing sustained contributions from high-net-worth individuals and philanthropic organizations. As a key member of our team, you will focus on creating meaningful donor relationships that enhance our mission of advancing social inclusion for people with disabilities in Australia.

Salary:
$125,000 - $175,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director of Investment and Philanthropy to develop and implement the organization's engagement, mass, mid-level, and major donor strategy, focusing on high-net-worth individuals and their giving vehicles.
• Conduct extensive prospect research and identify potential donors for engagement, including wealth scanning and researching philanthropists.
• Develop a recruitment and retention strategy for Major Donors, including a donor stewardship program to build authentic lasting relationships with donors.
• Create effective communication materials to convey TAF's mission to major donors, such as marketing materials, major gifts proposals, and gift solicitation letters.
• Build a Major Gifts revenue stream to generate a minimum annual revenue of $1.5 million leading up to annual revenues of $2 million in three years.
• Manage all aspects of metrics and reporting related to mass, mid-level, and major gifts to TAF.
• Represent TAF at networking events and sector meetings.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Advanced level of written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with various stakeholders in different styles and write detailed reports and submissions.
• Storytelling abilities are essential for this role.
• Demonstrated expertise in fundraising, specifically generating a minimum of $1 million annually in Major Gifts revenue.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing a donor journey strategy for mass, mid-level, and major donors.
• Demonstrated expertise in organizing events to achieve revenue goals, including fundraising events, round table gatherings of donors, and engagement opportunities.
• Demonstrated expertise in employing prospect research tools and donor databases for Major Gifts.
• Demonstrated expertise in measuring data and ensuring reporting in relation to major giving, including working knowledge of nonprofit CRM software.
• Ability to produce high-quality work with minimal supervision, including the ability to multi-task efficiently.
