The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of Aboriginal health issues and have experience working in a healthcare setting. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, liaising with community-controlled organizations, and contributing to the promotion of our Reconciliation Action Plan.
Key Responsibilities- Provide culturally sensitive healthcare services to Aboriginal patients
- Liaise with community-controlled organizations to facilitate integrated care
- Contribute to the promotion of our Reconciliation Action Plan
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Hold or be working towards a Certificate IV in Aboriginal Primary Health Care (Practice)
- Eligibility to be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Proven ability to work in a culturally sensitive manner with Aboriginal patients and communities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
