Job Description:

This is a key role within our sales team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, building relationships with existing customers, and promoting planned maintenance servicing of equipment. Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with a strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Damage Assessment: Inspect and quote damage repairs to hire fleet vehicles, ensuring accurate and timely assessments.
  • Sales Promotion: Promote and sign up retail Overhauls and PMP service/maintenance schedules for workshop and road service, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Acquisition: Approach potential customers with the aim of increasing customer base and turnover, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Damage Reporting: Conduct visual inspections and report damage to hire fleet vehicles, maintaining accurate records and facilitating prompt repair or replacement.
  • Customer Liaison: Liaise with existing customers to ensure satisfaction with services and facilities, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Central Point of Contact: Provide a central point of contact for customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Customer Service Focus: Strong customer service skills, with a professional attitude and approach, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude or trade qualified would be an advantage, enabling effective assessment and management of vehicle damage.
  • Technical Skills: Good computer skills with a sound grasp of the Microsoft suite of programs, facilitating efficient data management and record-keeping.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills, ensuring effective communication with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and teamwork within the organization.
  • Time Management: Exceptional time management skills to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve targets.
  • Teamwork: Strong sense of teamwork and work ethic, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
