Mine Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Coordinator to join our team at 29Metals Limited's Golden Grove operation in Western Australia.
As a Mine Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing multiple contractors and overseeing mining operations to meet and exceed targets while prioritizing safety, production, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Manage Contractors: Supervise the mining contractor and review and report on their performance to ensure they are meeting the required standards.
- Oversee Mining Operations: Oversee and enhance mining operations to meet and exceed targets while prioritizing safety, production, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and Maintain Mine Planning: Develop and maintain accurate mine planning and scheduling, ensuring effective communication with contractors and the accurate delivery of plans.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and influence cost performance, while mentoring and coaching high-potential employees.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations by conducting audits, inspections, and monitoring contractor and employee adherence.
- Manage Injury and Incident Investigations: Manage injury and incident investigations, ensuring timely resolution and the implementation of corrective actions.
We are looking for a candidate with an extensive background in underground mining, including strong experience as a shift supervisor.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications include:
- An Underground Supervisor's Certificate of Competency.
- Exposure to owner mining and contracting operations.
- Contractor mining management experience is viewed favorably.
- A current C Class WA Licence (manual).
29Metals Limited is an ASX-listed mining company that produces copper and other base and precious metals critical to the global energy transition.
We have two long-life assets: Golden Grove in Western Australia and Capricorn Copper in Queensland, as well as a portfolio of exploration interests, including a strategic tenement package and exploration project in Redhill, Chile.
Golden Grove is a high-grade copper, zinc, and precious metals underground mining operation, located just a 1-hour flight from Perth or Geraldton. It has a life expectancy of over 10 years with significant potential for mine-life extension, supported by modern infrastructure.
