About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to support our Head of Level Crossings in managing safety data, coordinating inspections and ensuring third-party compliance obligations are met.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with data, stakeholders and infrastructure to support safety improvements across the network.

  • Analyse and manage level crossing safety data and documentation
  • Support risk assessments and hazard identification across the network
  • Maintain accuracy of our data within databases
  • Coordinate site visits, inspections and travel logistics
  • Assist with safety submissions and committee reporting
  • Document and follow up on third-party compliance actions
  • Engage with councils, landowners and freight operators
  • Monitor regulatory developments and support internal compliance
  • Help identify and close illegal or redundant crossings
  • Occasional travel to regional sites and administrative coordination for field activities
