Our company is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Coordinator/Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day freight handling and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of large volumes of cargo;
- Oversee forklift operations and ensure adherence to safety protocols;
- Monitor and maintain compliance with OH&S requirements;
- Provide guidance and support to warehouse staff;
- Assist with scheduling and workflow management to meet operational deadlines;
- Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient freight movement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in freight coordination, warehouse, or logistics operations;
- Strong understanding of air freight processes and warehouse safety standards;
- Proven ability to take initiative and lead by example;
- Excellent organisational and time management skills;
- High level of reliability and accountability;
- Physical fitness for manual lifting as required;
- Confidence in handling and stacking heavy loads;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills;
- A current LF Forklift License (essential);
- A current Australian Driver's License & own transport;
- A current ASIC card (preferred, or ability to obtain).
