Rehabilitation Consultant

Our team of experts in workplace health, injury management and safety delivers high-quality services across personal injury and occupational health. We focus on recovery and function to help clients return to work and life.

  • Take a holistic care approach, working within a multidisciplinary team to support the rehabilitation journey.
  • Perform assessments based on clinical expertise. This may include functional capacity evaluations, worksite or activities of daily living assessments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness or trauma, medical specialists and other treatment providers.
  • Work across defence and veterans portfolios, supporting both current ADF members and veterans.

Work across local ADF bases in this hybrid role. Location may vary between offices, bases and home-based options.

Key success factors:

  • Current unrestricted registration with relevant professional bodies.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing or Psychology.
  • Clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals.
  • Passion for helping people rehabilitate and recover.
