Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide assistance to clients with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, as well as aged care clients or private individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver support services to clients with varying levels of need, encompassing daily living, personal care, community support, and empowerment.
  • Assist with activities related to client care, such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
  • Participate actively in staff development and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and progress.

Requirements:

  • Certification in disability, aged care, community or individual support, or higher (highly regarded).
  • Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain) if working with children.
  • NDIS worker screening (or willingness to obtain).
  • Police check (or willingness to obtain).
  • First Aid Certificate issued within the last 3 years (or willingness to obtain).
  • CPR Certificate issued within the last 12 months (or willingness to obtain).
  • Evidence of work rights (e.g. Passport, Birth Certificate or VISA).
