Job Title: Caregiver for Individuals with Disabilities

We are seeking a skilled caregiver to provide high-quality support and companionship to individuals with disabilities in the Gatton area.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and physical disabilities, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities of this role include assisting with daily living tasks, driving clients to appointments, and providing emotional support and companionship.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience working with individuals who have ASD and physical disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid Working with Children and Workers Screening Check
  • Your own car and insurance

Preferred qualifications include 1 year of experience in caregiving and holding relevant certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Drive clients to appointments and social events
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and progress

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate in disability support or a related field
  • 1 year of experience in caregiving
  • Valid Working with Children and Workers Screening Check
  • Your own car and insurance
