">About The Role
  • We are seeking an experienced legal project manager to join our team for a 6-month contract role.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our clients, partners, and lawyers to apply project management methodologies to live matters. Our team provides effective project management support to drive greater efficiency, transparency, and certainty in legal matters.

Your role will involve working closely with our clients, partners, lawyers, and colleagues to design and manage the efficient delivery of legal services. This will include collaborating with colleagues in the legal practice groups, Ashurst Advance, Ashurst Consulting, and business development teams.

You will establish yourself as a trusted specialist with our partners and lawyers locally and globally. Your responsibilities will include providing legal project management advice and support to partners and matter teams on large and complex legal matters.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of project management in consultancy or professional services firms, including experience working within the legal industry. They will also have excellent client-facing skills, with a track record of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

The ideal candidate will have advanced organisational and influencing skills, flexibility of style, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment. They will also have excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

AAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certifications are desirable. Experience working with virtual teams in a global environment is also highly desirable.
