Overview Senior Legal Counsel - 6 month Contract - Open to Sydney or Melbourne Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join a high-performing legal team on a 6-month daily rate contract (with potential to extend).
This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys working in a fast-paced, varied environment.
Responsibilities Providing legal support across technology contracting and enterprise sales Leading and negotiating commercial agreements (buy and sell side) with a focus on pragmatic outcomes Acting as a safe pair of hands during parental leave cover, supporting colleagues and maintaining business continuity Advising on a broad range of legal issues including compliance, IP, employment and M&A Partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver commercial, solution-focused advice Qualifications Qualified lawyer with strong experience in technology contracting Comfortable in a fast-moving environment Able to adapt quickly to a wide variety of legal projects Strong commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills Collaborative and able to work autonomously with senior stakeholders Job details Location: Sydney or Melbourne Start: October 2025 Contract: 6 months, daily rate, with potential to extend #J-18808-Ljbffr
