Lending Operations Specialist Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lending Operations Specialist, where you will play a key role in the establishment and ongoing function of high-performing lending operations teams.

  • Attend to documentation and settlement of secured asset finance and commercial lending including fit-out loans, ensuring accurate and timely settlements.
  • Instruct and liaise with solicitors on loan documentation and settlement of commercial property and goodwill loans, maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Quality control of any documents prepared in-house before releasing to clients, guaranteeing precision and attention to detail.
  • Ensure all settlement conditions and requirements, including AML/KYC checks, are met prior to settling loans and disbursing funds accurately and efficiently.
  • Register security on the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) as required, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Perform ongoing loan servicing duties, including processing loan drawdowns, collecting repayments, generating statements, discharges, and variations, providing excellent customer service.
  • Successfully interact with frontline lending staff to ensure a high level of client satisfaction and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • User acceptance testing of new product builds, fixes, and enhancements on state-of-the-art digital lending platforms, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Engage in project work connected to operations, expanding the role into areas of interest, driving growth and innovation.
  • Contribute to the design and build of an operations capability to support the launch and growth of alternative finance lending products and channels, driving business success.
