Job Description:
- Reconcile bank accounts, loan accounts, and other general ledger accounts for financial accuracy.
- Have a thorough understanding of Single Touch Payroll (STP) 2.0 requirements.
- Manage compliance items such as processing payroll, BAS, IAS, STP, Superannuation, leave entitlements, and Work cover in accordance with Australian regulations.
- Process and complete QuickBooks, MYOB & Xero accounts, reconciliations, payroll, and BAS efficiently.
- Liaise directly with clients, accountants, and the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reports with detailed commentary.
- Manage full function accounts payable and receivable effectively.
- Prioritize tasks, maintain attention to detail, and demonstrate strong multi-tasking capability.
- Be proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Requirements:
- Previous working experience in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations is required.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and Xero is highly preferred.
- The ability to quickly learn new software applications is essential.
- Ability to work from home for an initial period before relocating to our office.
