A Sourcing Specialist is required to join our team at our location in Australia. This role involves developing and implementing regional aftermarket sourcing strategies to ensure safe, quality, and cost-effective goods and services are provided in full and on time to the Australian business.

Job Description
  • Manage supplier relationships for suppliers servicing the Australian region without a globally appointed SRM.
  • Develop regional sourcing strategies aligned with global category management strategy.
  • Source new suppliers and products through market analysis and best practice negotiation.
  • Minimise supplier base through consolidation and prudent selection and management of suppliers.
  • Implement global category management initiatives within the region through stakeholder engagement and enforcing compliance.
  • Work with suppliers to improve safety, quality, and performance through clear guidelines, KPIs, and expectations.
  • Develop and realise initiatives to reduce costs to the Australian business and meet savings targets.
  • Develop, implement, and manage supplier agreements for key suppliers.
  • Provide procurement expertise and knowledge to the procurement function and Australian business.
  • Support the Strategic Buyer in developing their capability and competency for succession planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and supplier relationships.
  • 2+ years' experience in procurement and vendor management.
  • Extensive knowledge of procurement processes and strategies.
  • Sound understanding of Trade Practice Law advantageous.
