Job Description:

  • The Senior Procurement Strategist will proactively manage the Source 2 Pay/accounts payable function to ensure timely payment and clearing of accounts.
  • This role will maintain procurement systems integrity, accuracy of financial and procurement records, and internal controls within the organization.
  • The ideal candidate will contribute to continual process improvement and implementation within operational functions.
  • They will liaise and negotiate internally and externally with staff in other departments and corporate finance.
  • Key responsibilities include managing business planning, financial management, governance, and other responsibilities as legislated in the Public Service Act to deliver responsive, effective, and efficient services.
  • The Senior Procurement Strategist will lead and develop staff within the Procurement team.
