MSC is seeking experienced and committed Support Workers (SW) to work in various programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home support including personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation.
  • Support consumers to attend medical and allied health appointments by providing safe transport.
  • Assist with daily activities of daily living and tasks.
  • Support with direct care tasks related to social support services provided by the Centre.
  • Provide safe transport to enable service users to access community and social activities.
  • Engage with daily wellness and reablement activities.
Requirements
  • Build a positive supportive relationship with people being supported.
  • Commit to a person-centred approach in their work.
  • Be passionate about supporting people.
  • Speak multiple languages, with current need for Italian, Spanish, Macedonian, Dari/Persian/Farsi, Vietnamese and Hindi/Gujarati.
What We Offer
  • Certificate in individualised support, disability and/or aged care (highly desirable).
  • Previous experience working in aged care (highly desirable).
  • Ability to engage and work from a respective framework for people/families supported.
  • Understanding and/or experience of the needs of people from CaLD backgrounds.
  • Valid WA driver's license and a reliable private vehicle.
  • Hold or are prepared to obtain an NDIS Check.
  • Hold COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative.
