Job Title: Digital Delivery Manager

Sky's Centre of Excellence for everything Digital seeks a talented Delivery Manager to lead our teams in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Our Portfolio, Operations, Design & Strategy Lab is responsible for long-range planning and creating a framework that drives User-Centered Design thinking.

We're looking for someone with phenomenal delivery leadership skills who can drive confidence in both our teams and collaborators around our delivery performance and commitments.

  • Continuing to ensure work in flight drives the Digital critical metrics and meets the needs of the business and customer
  • Facilitating scoping and planning sessions with wider Sky teams to produce an end-to-end digital plan with the Technical PM
  • Identifying and documenting delivery dependencies with a range of delivery partners
  • Proactively handling any risks & issues to ensure a smooth delivery and flagging to the Portfolio Lead where support is needed

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Desirable experience in delivering within multiple methodologies and frameworks, particularly Agile at scale
  • Experience of working on large programmes as well as small change and optimisation of backlog
  • The ability to empower the team to take ownership of their deliverables clearly articulating the plan; identifying the most efficient and quickest way to release value for our customers
  • A 'can do' demeanour within the Portfolio that drives and galvanizes our people around the goal
  • Capable of working at both a macro and micro level; incredible attention to detail and ability to cut through difficult scenarios to reach a resolution, fast
  • A strong delivery and planning background with experience of the Software Delivery cycle in both an Agile and waterfall environment
