A prominent hospitality organization seeks an experienced Loss Prevention Professional to safeguard assets, analyze financial trends, and reduce loss through investigation and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks related to cash handling, stock management, and operational data;
  • Investigate irregularities and recommend robust controls to minimize shrinkage and fraud;
  • Monitor and audit cash handling procedures across all revenue centers;
  • Conduct regular spot checks and unannounced audits on cash floats, safes, and point-of-sale terminals;
  • Analyze inventory reports to identify stock losses or unusual usage patterns;
  • Collaborate with procurement to address irregularities and implement corrective actions;
  • Support the development and rollout of internal control policies and assist in staff training on cash handling, stock management, and loss prevention protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field;
  • Experience in loss prevention, audit, or financial control within hospitality, retail, or FMCG sectors;
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI) and familiarity with POS and inventory management systems;
  • Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to identify subtle risk patterns;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with operational teams at all levels;
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential financial information.
