Audit Professional, Risk Mitigation Specialist

The role of the Audit Specialist plays a crucial part in the APAC Audit Services Team, responsible for coordinating and executing successful audit engagements with a primary focus on identifying and mitigating risks associated with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Financial Crime (FinCrime).
Main Responsibilities:- Coordinate and collaborate with the global AML and FinCrime audit team on risk identification and execution of internal audits to ensure effective control measures are in place.
- Contribute to the evolution of the AML and FinCrime internal audit strategy, including risk assessment and coverage to enhance overall business resilience.
- Provide strategic thinking and guidance on identifying key risks and assessing control effectiveness to inform business decisions.
- Demonstrable AML and FinCrime subject matter expertise in a financial services environment.
- Professional certifications such as ACAMS, CPA, CIA, ACA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills to drive successful outcomes.
