About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Employment Consultant. The successful candidate will have experience working with the Victorian Koori community and a strong understanding of cultural protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Engagement: Develop and implement culturally appropriate strategies to attract and recruit Koori talent for various roles within the justice system.
- Support and Development: Provide ongoing support and development opportunities to ensure the success of Koori employees throughout their employment journey.
- Cultural Alignment: Collaborate with internal teams to review and update policies ensuring cultural alignment and integrity.
Requirements and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Proven experience working with the Victorian Koori community.
- Strong understanding of cultural protocols and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in administrative and corporate support tools.
