About the role
Victims of violent crime require dedicated support and advocacy. As a VOCAT Koori List Engagement Registrar, you will play a pivotal role in fostering connections with the Koori community, understanding their unique needs, and providing assistance to those affected by crime.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills, enabling them to effectively liaison with community stakeholders. A strong commitment to supporting victims of crime and experience working within the Koori community are essential qualifications for this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Koori community members and stakeholders.
- Providing guidance and support to victims of crime.
- Assisting in the coordination of services and programs that benefit the Koori community.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in the Koori community and liasing with community stakeholders
- A commitment to providing assistance to victims of crime
