Aged Care Telehealth Consultant

Job Title:
Aged Care Telehealth ConsultantWe are seeking an experienced After-Hours Telehealth GP to join our team in a flexible role that allows you to work remotely while making a meaningful impact in aged care.
About the Role:
- Conduct after-hours telehealth rounds for residential aged care facilities.
- Provide acute medical support, clinical oversight, and continuity of care for residents.
- Update medication charts, issue prescriptions, and order investigations as needed.
- Manage and follow up on acute issues raised by facility staff.
- Communicate with family members and provide referrals to specialists where required.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation within 30 minutes of completing rounds.
Work Schedule:
- Weekday evenings: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
- Weekends: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm | 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm | 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
- Average 4 consultations per hour, depending on case complexity.
About You:
- You are a compassionate and adaptable GP who embraces innovative models of care and values flexibility.
- Current AHPRA General or Specialist Registration is required.
- Experience in residential aged care or primary care settings is highly regarded.
