Job Title: Field Practice Advisor

Horizon Power is seeking a highly skilled Field Practice Advisor to join our team. As a Field Practice Advisor, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the Field Practice documentation suite, ensuring compliance with legislative and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review field practice documentation to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of work on electricity distribution, transmission, and generation assets.
  • Provide technical advice on documentation and methodology, guiding and coaching Horizon Power's workforce on work practices.
  • Identify and implement improvements in tools, equipment, and work techniques for work on or near electricity distribution, transmission, and generation assets.
  • Conduct field assurance activities to determine adherence to Horizon Power field practice documentation, systems, and processes.

Requirements:

  • WA Driver's License Class 'C' or 'CA'.
  • Trade or tertiary qualification related to electricity utilities (electrical, engineering, or safety qualification).
  • High Voltage Glove and Barrier qualification (desired).
  • An understanding of electricity utilities encompassing distribution and/or transmission and/or generation.
  • Familiar with electricity and WHS legislation, Australian Standards, Codes of Practice, and ENA guidelines applicable to a utility business.
