Opportunity Overview

We are looking for a meticulous Commercial Advisor to become part of the CleanCo team in our Brisbane CBD office.

This newly established role will involve providing essential contractual, commercial, and analytical guidance to support the management, negotiation, and implementation of CleanCo's Renewable Offtake and Resources portfolio.

Your expertise and insights will be pivotal in advancing our renewable energy strategy and bolstering our market presence. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the renewable energy and resources market, identifying trends and opportunities, and managing contracts to assist the Commercial Managers in executing our renewable energy and retail strategy.

This is a permanent position that offers flexibility, including the option to work from home two days a week.

Candidate Profile

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • Extensive experience in the Energy or Utilities sector, with a solid understanding of the National Energy Market.
  • A strong grasp of energy market fundamentals, particularly in renewable energy and gas sectors.
  • Prior experience in supporting commercial agreements and contract negotiations.
  • A proven track record in identifying and cultivating commercial opportunities within the energy market.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills, along with strong numerical, analytical, and interpretative abilities.
  • Experience in reporting, contract management, and project tracking.
  • Excellent consultation and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • A willingness to contribute broadly to the development and execution of CleanCo's Customer and Energy Strategy.
  • A passion for being part of a larger mission that contributes to a clean energy future in Queensland.
