Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Vessel Engineer to join our team on a casual basis.

The successful candidate will ensure the safe mechanical operations of our vessels, enhancing the guest experience in one of Australia's most stunning locations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing daily engine and machinery checks on assigned vessels.
  • Collaborating with the Master to manage the vessel's safe operations in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Diagnosing system problems as they occur.
  • Ensuring all maintenance requirements and actions are recorded accurately.
  • Coordinating effective preventative maintenance programmes.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of marine engines and systems, including installations.

They will also have experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures, alongside exceptional guest service skills.
