Marine Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Shore Based Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting in the mechanical and electrical maintenance of vessels, pontoon, vehicles, tenders, outboards, air-conditioning, refrigeration, lighting, davits and lifting systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance programs and complete servicing as outlined.
- Diagnose system problems and accurately maintain logs and work orders.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Marine Memos, operation procedures, and WHS requirements.
- Maintain main and auxiliary engines, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic cylinders (rams), water pumps, electric generators, lights, navigation system, ventilation systems, underwater running gear, and other mechanical, hydraulic, electrical gear on board.
- Maintenance of emergency generations, emergency steering, and firefighting systems to ensure compliance with legislation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A trade qualification with time-served diesel mechanic experience.
- An Open Manual Driver's Licence.
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid & Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
- Working at heights and confined spaces experience (desirable).
- Forklift Licence (desirable).
