Project Coordinator Job Description

The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the successful execution and administration of technology-based projects across the business. This involves effective communication with stakeholders, organization, and coordination of project resources to meet project milestones and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project resource allocation to ensure the project team has the necessary resources at the right time.
  • Assign tasks to team members and provide clear guidance on project expectations and deadlines.
  • Schedule stakeholder meetings, document proceedings, and generate reports as required.
  • Foster collaboration among project team members to facilitate task completion and deliverable production.
  • Work closely with external partners and project managers to establish clear lines of responsibility and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
  • Monitor project progress and create status reports for project managers and stakeholders.
  • Schedule stakeholder meetings and facilitate communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Administer project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule, or scope statement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Project management certifications: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar.
  • Working knowledge of project management software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Documentation and writing skills.
  • Confident presenter.
