Harms Program Lead Role

The role of Harms Program Lead is a key position within our organisation.

Position Overview:

  • To be successful in this role, you will need to develop and deliver repeatable and configurable activities that address specific areas of harm across four stages: Design, Deliver, Review, and Improve.
  • You will design a plan to address prioritised harms, deliver planned activities, and improve programs to continue addressing harm through appropriate activities.
  • This role will support our organisation in becoming a harms-based regulator by translating strategy and policy into cohesive delivery activities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for identifying and mitigating harms.
  2. Design and deliver training programs to equip staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage harms.
  3. Work closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize areas of harm.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a harms-based regulatory environment or a relevant industry profession, with an understanding of government administrative processes.
  • Tertiary qualifications in management, engineering, building, plumbing, risk management, policy, research, regulation, public administration, or equivalent are desirable.
  • Proven ability to provide expert advice and guidance to identify processes, systems, and activities that need adjustment for harms-based regulation.
  • Co-design and development experience of harms-based regulatory activities, including clear objectives and expected outcomes, required collateral, and tools.
