Program Lead for Harm Reduction

The role of Harms Program Lead is a key position within our organisation.
Position Overview:
- To be successful in this role, you will need to develop and deliver repeatable and configurable activities that address specific areas of harm across four stages: Design, Deliver, Review, and Improve.
- You will design a plan to address prioritised harms, deliver planned activities, and improve programs to continue addressing harm through appropriate activities.
- This role will support our organisation in becoming a harms-based regulator by translating strategy and policy into cohesive delivery activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for identifying and mitigating harms.
- Design and deliver training programs to equip staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage harms.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize areas of harm.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a harms-based regulatory environment or a relevant industry profession, with an understanding of government administrative processes.
- Tertiary qualifications in management, engineering, building, plumbing, risk management, policy, research, regulation, public administration, or equivalent are desirable.
- Proven ability to provide expert advice and guidance to identify processes, systems, and activities that need adjustment for harms-based regulation.
- Co-design and development experience of harms-based regulatory activities, including clear objectives and expected outcomes, required collateral, and tools.
